Choosing a plan for your Minecraft server

Choosing a plan for your new Minecraft server can be a daunting task. This guide aims to give you a basic outline of what plan would be suitable for different player counts/use-cases.

Please Note: This guide should not be a definitive guide as to what plan you should get. There are many variables when choosing a plan and this guide will not apply for all use-cases. If you have any questions or need help choosing a plan, you can open a ticket on our Discord where our staff will be more than happy to help you.

DedicatedMC currently offers 5 different Minecraft plans. All the plans run on high-quality hardware, however, some plans are not suited for certain use-cases due to variables such as number of players, number of plugins/mods etc. which are more resource intensive than other use-cases. For this reason, choosing a plan is a very important decision to make to ensure the best possible experience for you and your players.

It is worth noting that DedicatedMC allows you to upgrade/downgrade at any time (provided the plan/location is available) via a ticket and each plan comes with a 48-hour refund policy in-case you are not happy with your server.

Below is a list of each of DedicatedMC's plans and a list of suitable use-cases:
